Last weekend we went out in Santa Monica to hang out with some of our friends. Charlie had been up since 5:30 am, so we threw in the towel at 11pm… But just because it was early, doesn’t mean it wasn’t totally AWESOME. We saw some ridiculous people, walked to the ocean to see the Santa Monica Pier, and sang some songs (none of which were by Beyonce despite Charlie’s certainty). ‘TWAS FUN.
I really like Santa Monica, and if I lived in LA, I’d probably live there…It’s so cute and has a nice small-town feel (as much as you probably can for being in LA).
Oh and “Sweatin’ Crazy”, Charlie’s “new single”…stay tuned. It doesn’t exist, but after that comment, I’m making it happen.
I have been using the same MacBook Pro for the past 5+ years. I got it when I was a junior in college, and while it has been an amazing computer and I have gotten so much great use out of it, at 6 years old, it was time to get a new one.
My old computer…The startup disk is ALWAYS full, no matter how many files I move to external hard drives, the computer runs really slowly, and can’t even run if too many programs are open. The operating system is super old and I can’t even upgrade to the newest version of Flash (or any other software really) because of my operating system, but it’s really not worth investing upgraded software. Another thing…my second battery died quite a few months ago, so the computer has to be plugged in all the time to function… it’s essentially a laptop. Even with all those issues and my complaining, it still works “enough” and has yet to really give up the ghost.
