I’ve been seeing a lot of galaxy themed stuff lately…makeup, nails, clothing — you name it. So today I wanted to show you how you can do galaxy inspired nails yourself. (Don’t worry, it’s not as hard as it looks.)
What you’ll need:
–An assortment of colors (a dark base color, some blues and purples, maybe even green, yellow, or pink, a metallic, etc. — get creative!)
–A sponge
–A pointed nail art tool or toothpick
Step 1: Paint each nail completely with your dark base color.
Step 2: Paint your second color directly onto the sponge and dab it onto each nail in a random pattern.
Step 3: Repeat Step 2 for each polish, going from dark to light in color for best blending.
Step 4: Using your nail art tool or toothpick, add white dots for “planets.”
Step 5: Paint over each nail completely with a clear sparkly polish for more of that cosmic atmosphere look.
Finish with a clear top coat and you’ve got some outta this world galaxy nails!
